A Lovely days walk

Hello everyone! Today's post is something different as I thought I may try to showcase some of my photography. I generally just do it as a hobby and have done for 2-3 years now but I would like to possibly pursue a career in fashion photography or something I can incorporate photography into. These pictures I took during a pleasant Sunday walk I had with my Mum which was lovely, I think the sun shining helped too! These pictures were edited on afterlight as I wanted them to have a 'vintage/tumblresc' style to them. These aren't my best pictures but if people do like this sort of post then I will eventually post some of my favourites, enjoy...

Small Primark Haul (+ebay)

Hello everyone, so on Saturday I went shopping to get my mum some birthday presents but ended up buying somethings myself. I wasn't expecting to just get things from Primark because for the past few months I haven't really liked much they had. Obviously, they must have got new stock in and I found a few gems which I love. At the moment my style is sort of having a '60s vibe' with one of my main fashion inspirations at the minute being Alexa Chung. If anyone has any queries about anything then feel free to ask or if you'd like to know 'How I style' a certain item please tell me. Enjoy!

The Body Shop Review

Hello everyone! Recently I seem to have been buying quite a few things from The Body Shop which is strange for me as I've never really been interested by that shop. I decided that as I've been loving so many of their products I would review them to let you all know how good they are!

1. Mango Body Mist - This product has been my go to scent for the past 6 weeks now and I highly recommend it! I purchased it at the airport so this scent definitely reminds me of my holiday which I love as it was such a good holiday. The scent does smell quite strong when it's first applied however, after about 10 minutes it becomes a lot more subtle and smells beautiful. I find that it lasts all day in school or at home which is great to find in a 'Body Mist'. Its definitely more of a summer scent but I love it so much that I bought another bottle and I will be wearing it in winter.

2/3. Sweet Lemon Shower Gel & Coconut Shower Cream - I can't really comment much on these as I've only had them for around a week and haven't yet used the coconut one. Although, I have used the lemon shower gel everyday and I absolutely love it! It's definitely one of the only shower gels I've found to have a scent which can actually be smelt a few hours after a shower. The smell of both products is so nice and they're priced at £4 each which I think is reasonable for what you're getting.

4. Tea Tree Pore Minimiser - I use this product as a primer before I apply my make-up as I have quite large pores on my nose and my cheeks. I think that this product does do what it says which is 'to minimise pores' and as its tea tree, it has never made me break out or made my skin more oily. I don't use this daily (e.g. not for school) but when I do I find my make-up lasts all day without looking too worn, if that makes any sense?

5. Strawberry Body Butter - This is hands down the nicest smelling product I've ever had! As well as the sweet, beautiful scent it's such a good moisturizer with a scent that lingers for hours. The consistency is quite thick however, when applied it becomes more smooth and buttery. The only negative I have about this product is that I usually apply it around 1 hour before bed to my legs and it still feels quite sticky once I'm in bed. This is probably me being fussy but it isn't a major problem for me as I still continue to use it.

I will certainly be trying more products from The Body Shop and I can't wait to see if they live up to my high expectations.

Lookbook: Summer to Autumn Transition

Hello everyone, today's post as you will probably tell from the title is a lookbook. I know I did one around a month ago but the weather in England has drastically changed since then so my general outfits have changed a lot. I tried to incorporate some of my 'summer' pieces into the looks (e.g. shorts, skirts and cami crop tops) so that it gives people an idea of how to wear your summer pieces all year round as I doubt anyone can afford to buy a whole new wardrobe every season! Also, I tried to edit the images in a more 'autumnal' style so if you were wondering why the post doesn't exactly go with my other posts, its because I thought it was more fitting. I just wanted to say that my tights are black but seem to be picking up blue on the pictures, anyway! Any questions about anything within the post feel free the comment and ask, but other than that enjoy!

Quote 1: Surround Yourself With The Dreamers...

Hello everyone, today's post is something a bit different to what I've done before as I seem to have bombarded you with fashion and make-up posts which some of you may love to see, some may prefer a change every once in a while. I see a lot of bloggers talking about their favourite quotes as a way of trying to get across to people to try and help with their problems so, I thought I'd give it a go. I may post quotes twice a month because I like to look on tumblr finding special quotes which can/have helped me with different problems. The quote I've chosen today has been my favourite quote for a few months now as I love the message it has in it and how it can be interpreted differently.
When I first read this quote the first thing I thought was 'How have I never realized that?', I spent so much time taking people for granted and I never realized that the people who cared the most, weren't being treated the best. It made me realize that surrounding myself with the same small number of people wasn't always necessary and that also, surrounding myself with a large number of people wasn't either. I just decided that what I needed most were the people who saw the good things about me to be treated like they should. Overall, this quote to me means being surrounded by a range of different people can be good in some instance, but when bad things happen is anyone going to be there? Its definitely brought me closer to my mum and my best friend Ella for different reasons and I'm very thankful that I found this quote when I did. I'm sorry if this post hasn't been to your interest but I can't make everyone smile!

Back To School: Natural Makeup

Hello everyone! So I hope you've enjoyed the regular posts but unfortunately, I don't think my posting will be as frequent now as I'm going back to school. I will try my best to update twice a week but being in Year 10, there is a lot of extra work I'm going to have to do at home. So I thought seen as though everyone's going back to school and I've never done a make up look on my blog, I might as well do a 'Back to School' look. All I've done is pictured the products used and what the finished look is like as I think its quite self explanatory on what I did but if not, please comment with any questions. Also, if I do more make up looks would you rather see them like this or see them as a step-by-step guide? Enjoy!
