Lake Windermere

Even though this outfit is not something I am a fan of, I was in love with the backdrop of the beauty that is Lake Windermere. I've been several times but never appreciated how pretty the spot is. All my clothing is pretty much walking gear, yes bloggers do wear practical outfits occasionally, but I don't think it looks too bad! The lake is obviously in the Lake District, which if you haven't visited you should as when the weather is nice there is nothing you can fault. It's nice to sit in peace and quiet, forget reality and on look to Lake Windermere...

That 90s summer vibe

This outfit was inspired by a girls street whilst on a recent trip to Manchester, she had paired a playsuit with a high neck jumper and it proved the perfect combination for this bi polar spring weather! I decided to pair my Primark turtle neck with a strappy H&M dress which has the cutest ditsy print on it. I simply wore my H&M chelsea boots as when do I ever not wear these? I love the 90s vibes off this outfit which is definitely a style I always get inspiration from, it is finally starting to feel slightly more like summer so I'm loving that 90s summer vibe...

Beach chills

When I say 'beach chills' I mean in all instances, 1. it was fairly chilly and 2. I feel the most chilled and relaxed when I'm by the sea. My outfit choice wasn't exactly practical for the activities of this day but I was determined on wearing at least one outfit whilst I was away, that didn't include walking boots. I am in love with this off the shoulder Topshop top as the boho/hippie vibes are my current obsession! I paired it with a few layered necklaces, my Topshop mom jeans and some Topshop slip ons. Although is outfit is simple, I completely adore the elegance of it as I love the odd cuts to the top and the jeans together. I'm not really sure what I'm trying to imply but sometimes I ramble and I can't help it, let's just appreciate the beach chills...

Where have I been?

It feels like a while since I've sat down and blogged, this is because I've been so busy with life and holidays and so much stuff is happening I can't find time to relax and do my blog! The past week I've been in the Lake District with my family which was so relaxing, I found myself unexpectedly feeding lambs, jumping from trees and riding miniature trains. I definitely chilled out a lot being with my family in the beautiful countryside but now I'm home it is red alert stress levels! I have so many things I want/need to do and so little time! I find it hard to focus after having a long break, but I'm ready to get back on track and start more hard work. Expect good things...

A very McBusted Day

Today, Sunday 22nd April was the day I completed two thirds of my childhood/life/everything goal which was to meet McFly/Busted. If you know me, you know band's are a very special section of my life and meeting/seeing them is one of my favourite things to do. McFly were always the first proper band I loved and well James Bourne was my favourite person as a 5 year old so Busted were pretty adored also. Although my immaturity comes out for bands like these, I was completely in love with the 'sophisticated' look of this outfit! I wore triple leather (Is that even a thing?) as my Topshop leather bralet under my H&M jacket both co-ordinates with my, well my dads, leather belt. I am loving layering recently, so I paired this Topshop shirt over the bralet with 2 necklaces with quite intricate detail. My jeans are Topshop mom jeans which I have featured very recently  but I am completely obsessed with them! They fit so well, are so comfy and seem to add a pop of colour my outfits are very minimal/black and white. My H&M zip up boots finished off the look and emphasized the silver hardware running throughout. I had such an amazing day, meeting them and seeing them live and I love the buzz you get! The majority of my pictures are on twitter @lucejane_ or instagram @lucysb so check those out! It was a very good day, A very McBusted Day...
