Big and baggy clothes

Jacket: Zara // Skirt: Charity shop // Jumper: H&M // Shoes: H&M

There is something rewarding about going out in an outfit and blending in with the beautiful back drops as you stroll through the day. I can't get enough of this rust/orange colour and I do want to wear this jumper every day of my life, I won't lie. I'm never usually one to go for midi skirt but I found this gem in a charity shop a few weeks ago and I fell in love with this woodland print and colour palette. As for my jacket, I can not explain how much I adore this piece. Even though the price tag was a stretch for me, I can justify it by saying just look at it, it is stunning. I think a common trend for me throughout this season will be big and baggy clothing, I can't be doing with skin tight clothing revealing how much rubbish I'm eating...

Dress like it's 1966

Jacket:Topshop / Jumper:Primark / Jeans:New Look / Shoes:Topshop / Backpack:Primark

I can only apologise for the poor standard of my blog over these past few weeks, I have come to the conclusion college will take over my life. As much as I love college and the whole new atmosphere, it definitely takes up a lot more time! Me and my mum went on a quick trip to one of our favourite places, Hebden Bridge; the perfect backdrop for these autumnal shots. My favourite time of year is right now, as you can see I am smiling away whilst blending in with the beautiful rustic tones of the leaves. I got this jacket from the sale in Topshop and I love it so much! It is so 60s and my style, I thought pairing it with all black would really compliment the print and make the colour stand out. At the minute I am living for the 60s as I was this time last year, I think there is something about the autumnal air that makes me dress like it's 1966...

My favourite people

Jumper:Primark / Pants:New Look / Jacket:Urban Outfitters / Shoes:Converse

It's the days like these that I will look back on and think 'I was so lucky to have the people I had in my life'. My friends, or as we like to call ourselves, squad took a day trip to Blackpool to see the Illuminations and just wander around like proper tourists. I spent the day crying of laughter, take this for example: we were sat in pizza hut and a man said to a little boy waiting 'take a seat', so what did this boy do? He literally picked up this chair which was double his size and began 'taking' his 'seat' around the restaurant. Is there anyone else who finds things like that hilarious? As for my outfit, I have been constantly wearing these striped pants as they're so comfy and fit perfectly. It feels like a rarity to find me in anything other than a high neck top, so you probably already guessed I wore a polo neck jumper. I had the nicest day with my favourite people in the world, here is to more monthly squad blogs.

Not too out there

Stripe top: Miss Selfridge / Tee:Topshop / Pants:Primark / Shirt:Vintage/ Shoes:H&M/

For the past 5 weeks all my textiles and photography have consisted of is looking at linear pictures/samples, let's just say it's started to reflect in my outfits. I decided to mix different black and white patterns together because why not? Adding a few basic pieces into the mix definitely plays the outfit down nicely. Experimenting with patterns is something new to me but I think wearing subtle contrast to begin with is the way forward. I am obsessed with wearing patterned trousers at the minute, if anyone has any recommendations I'd love to know! Let's just sum things up by saying I'm pushing myself out there, but not too out there...

Switch your skinny jeans for dungarees?

Top:Urban Outfitters / Dungarees:h&m / Shoes:Converse / Bag:Primark

It's come to a point where I spend 90% of the day not taking myself seriously, so let that shine through in my blog posts. At the moment, my 5 year old slightly green but supposedly black converse have been my staple footwear with so many outfits. Something about pairing them with these dungarees makes me feel slightly childish, it feels great.  Whilst taking these shots I sat down on stinging nettles and stung my bum and leg, don't say I don't go to great lengths for the perfect shots! I love this muted green colour at the minute and think this basic look is perfectly autumnal. Why don't you try switching your skinny jeans for dungarees? Let your inner 5 year old out...

Sit back, relax and watch the world go by...

I can honestly say I could've sat on this rock for hours on end and loved every moment of it...
I am someone who can easily get caught up in things, whether that be with friends, college or everyday things. I wanted to write a post to take a moment out and just relax. The past few weeks have been non-stop, in times like that I feel I neglect myself and the things I want to focus on. One of my favourite things to do is go on long walks and take beautiful pictures and just sit. There is something quite rewarding about sitting with a view such as this one and I just feel very comfortable doing so. I think it is important for everyone to take a break every once in a while, sit back, relax and watch the world go by...
